Somehow 18 (2017)
Synopsis
A doctor named Kyung Hwi cannot forget Han Na Bi, a girl he met when he was eighteen who committed suicide. One drunken night he thinks he sees her outside of her father's record store and chases her until he finds a strange door that leads to the past.
Exciting moments
I think I'm officially addicted to time travel stories. First, it was While You Were Sleeping (2017) then Todome No Kiss (2018), Orange (2015), Mop Girl (2007), Meet Me @ 1006 (2018) and now this drama!

I liked that each episode was about fifteen minutes long and was split into two parts. It made me want to watch the next episode right away. Dramas with more than 26 episodes seem to have the annoying "get together, break up, get back together, break up" pattern to the point where I don't care what happens to the characters anymore.

It was very fulfilling to see young Kyung Hwi who was bullied, come back and stand up for himself like how he always wanted to. Time travel is interesting because everyone has a moment they would want to go back and change. Kyung Hwi shows that those bullies never really had any power over him and it's satisfying to see.
The story moves quickly and the main character Kyung Hwi is smart enough to start planning ways of saving Han Na Bi's life right away. I hate time travel stories where it takes the character half the drama or movie to figure out what is going on.
The cons

I liked the pace but I feel like it would have been better as a movie. At times it was a bit too dramatic for me. The chemistry between the leads was good but wasn't electrifying.
Overall thoughts
It was an entertaining story overall that talked about serious issues, mainly suicide and bullying. It's good to show that people with depression/suicidal thoughts shouldn't have to fight on their own. It's best to tell the people in your life how grateful you are for them. Unlike this drama, no one can go back in time and change the things we regret.
I wouldn't rewatch this drama, even though I did enjoy it.
Final Score: 3 Pulses out of 5
Kiss-O-Meter
1/5
There is only one kiss in this drama but I really liked it!
